Workshop Wednesday ~6/19/24

During the live presentation, I will be taking a sketch (pg.85) from the Creative Memories 101 Scrapbooking Ideas & Sketches Book, recreating it using different paper and tools, AND taking this one page layout and turning it into a two-page layout! The Layout

Today’s layout came from the Creative Memories Blog and was posted on July 6, 2022. I love how layout sneaks in a couple extra photos. Small, delicate strips of paper at the top and bottom of the layout help to draw your eyes right to your photos! Then the border strip running across the top 1/3 of the layout, this is keeping it simple! You can find the original blog post with this link. I have more photos I want to document and get into my album, so I will be creating a Simple second page to accompany the original layout.

My Finished Layout

I used the Summer Break Collection and kept the left hand side almost exactly as the sketch, then created the second page based on the photos I had left. I used the Striped Umbrella Punch to build-up my cluster scene on the left hand side. Finished it off with some tiny hearts and water splashes.
