1/2 The Mat

I have really embraced the idea of using Creative Memories Variety Mat Cards in my scrapbooking process. They make adding journaling and adding pops of color, quick and easy. But it never fails, I there are some that just don’t work for my style. I finally decided, I am a Half Mat Girl. I like to cut the mats down and use them in a smaller size. Once I cut in half, my goal is to coverup the exposed edge. Using my fun tools, stickers and embellishments, I give the mats a whole new look. The smaller size makes it easier to add to my scrapbook pages.

Here I am using the Sunflower Fields Collection.
