Keeping It Simple

Scrapbooking doesn’t have to be hard, time consuming, or prefect. My goal is to get my stories documented so my family can enjoy looking at and reading my albums. Sometimes finding just the right paper, stickers, embellishments, and final touches, takes so long I don’t have the creative juice to actually create the page. That’s why I launched the Keeping It Simple Series on my Youtube Channel. This a fun way to create a quick page, where the results don’t look simple. Simple doesn’t mean boring, it just means simple cuts, simple page design, and simple embellishments. Not all my pages are done in this manner, but when they are, I am more productive. This is my 8th mini series I have completed over on Youtube. Watch the video, click the playlist and watch them all!

In the final layout I used two Border Maker Cartridges, the Ancient Key and Scalloped Hearts (at time of posting, both are still available) Both added texture and color to my Layout. I kept the background simple with simple cuts and positioning of paper and photos. I used the Passport to Adventure Collection, which was prefect for my travel pages.
