We’ll continue in the our Keeping Scrapbooking Simple. We’ll be using the Creative Memories 52 Scrapbooking Project Recipe Book. I’ve selected several layouts that I consider “simple” — meaning easy paper cuts, straightforward photo placement, and just a few fun embellishments to finish it off.

This week, I’ll be working with Recipe #12 on page28 of the book, and I’ll show you how to use the project recipe to recreate a beautiful double-page layout! Don’t miss it!

The Layout - This layout was originally created for the Blend & Bloom Collection, then the book features the Back To School Collection. Now, I’m recreating it with the New Birthday Jubilee Collection! This is a fun layout which has a fun page fold over to reveal both sides of the paper. Once again we see the Half & Half design, which is a very common type of layout because it is such versatile layout design which looks different every time. But this time we have a fun added techniques, that we can use over and over! We will also see pattern paper tucked and displayed around the layout. Combining all this into a fabulous, easy to do layout! I will also incorporate the New Celebration Cake Punch into my design. Come along and play, we’ll get two pages done!
