We’ll continue in the our Keeping Scrapbooking Simple Series. We’ll be using the Creative Memories 52 Scrapbooking Project Recipe Book. I’ve selected several layouts that I consider “simple” — meaning easy paper cuts, straightforward photo placement, and just a few fun embellishments to finish it off, but there is always a “special technique”!

This week, I’ll be working with Recipe #38 on page 80 of the book, and I’ll show you how to use the project recipe to recreate a beautiful double-page layout! Don’t miss it!

The Layout - This layout was originally created using the Let The Good Time Roll Collection. The book features the same layout using Golden Harvest Collection. Two great collections, but now, I’m recreating it with the Exclusive Elegant Moments Collection! This is a fun layout which uses the 2/3 1/3 concept. There is a simple border in the 1/3 area and all the photos are arranged in the 2/3 area. Can you spot the special technique? I’ll be keeping my layout very similar, of course changing papers and the punch out. For my border punch I will be bringing in the elegant Barcode Border Maker Cartridge, and maybe a sneak peek of a new Border Punch - Floral Ribbon. Come along and play, we’ll get two pages done!
